About me

Does this sound familiar?

  • You are great at listening to others, but feel like a burden if you speak about yourself
  • You look like you have it all together, but underneath you are treading water
  • You are constantly striving for the next big thing, but struggle to enjoy what’s right in front of you

Chances are, you’ve come here as you’re wondering if therapy might help ease some of this discomfort.

We will all experience difficulties in life when it can seem hard to know what to do next - this is normal. But it can leave us feeling stressed, unhappy or frustrated, to name but a few emotions. When these feelings make it harder to enjoy life, to cope, or if we don’t know who else to talk to, having a regular space to talk confidentially without judgement can help.

Through counselling, we can learn to understand more about these feelings, step away from the self criticism and overwhelm and step into more satisfying lives.

We can:

  • learn to tame the anxiety
  • get comfortable being you
  • release your past and your patterns
  • improve your relationships

For those in London, I work face to face in Tooting and Balham. For those further afield, I work online or by telephone. I offer sessions throughout the week, and my practice is conveniently located within easy reach of Clapham, Balham, Wimbledon and Earlsfield. I also offer sessions in German.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
