About me
Welcome.
Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety, work-related stress or low mood? Maybe grieving someone important or facing relationship difficulties which shook up your sense of stability and identity?
You may be finding that ways which have always helped you cope, no longer seem to work. Understandably, you may feel alone and exhausted of trying to appear ‘fine’.
I work with adults navigating:
- anxiety and emotional overwhelm
- work-related stress
- low mood
- low self-confidence
- relationship difficulties
- major life changes (e.g. relationship endings; menopause; illness; career shifts; relocation) - changes triggering the need to adapt to new circumstances, often including identity questioning
- bereavement, including loss of a pregnancy or a child
- I also support parents who may need support following the birth of a rainbow baby.
Working with you
I offer a safe, empathic space where you can talk in confidence and know you’re respected and not judged. From the start, I focus on finding a way of working together which feels right for you and where you can be yourself. As we focus on your current problem, you will connect with your emotions and understand how past experiences affect your coping mechanisms. It will help you alleviate emotional distress and develop new ways of managing and overcoming your current and future challenges. I will support you so that you gradually feel more grounded, resilient and more in control.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent nearly two decades working in competitive corporate environments, inside and outside of the UK. I understand the difficulty of going through significant, challenging life events while dealing with work related pressures and adapting to work culture and life in different countries.
Getting Started
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call where you can share about what brings you, ask questions and get a sense of how I work and how I might be able to help you.
Meeting for the initial session is an opportunity for us to get a better understanding of what is challenging you, how I can best support you to address the problem and what our work together would look like. It’s also time for you to ask questions and voice any concerns, so that you can decide if you’d like to work with me.
I practice in-person in Hitchin (Hertfordshire), Wilstead / Haynes (Bedfordshire), Milton Keynes and online via Zoom across the UK.
I offer short-term or open-ended therapy depending on your needs.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
