About me
I am an Integrated Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with over 17 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings. Before gaining my accreditation and furthering my study, I worked for over seven years as a Psychosocial Counsellor in Addiction & Complex Mental Health. This has given me a broad foundation & a diverse set of skills in understanding how all the areas in our lives impact our overall wellbeing. I am deeply committed to providing trauma-informed therapy that supports lasting healing and growth.
My specialities are Trauma Recovery, Post-Traumatic Growth & Healing, Complex Mental Health Conditions, Anxiety & Depression, Nervous System & Emotional Regulation, Stress Management, Self-Development, Confidence Building, Self-Esteem & Personal Empowerment, Childhood Sexual Abuse, Sexual Violence & Rape.
Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I guide clients in identifying challenges, developing practical strategies, and shifting unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour to enhance overall well-being. My work is rooted in a pluralistic, person-centred approach, tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs and experiences.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am qualified in the Human Givens REWIND Technique which is a Trauma-Focused therapy that neutralises emotional distress from traumatic memories.
My qualifications include:
- Level 3 Diploma in Hypnotherapy
- Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Skills
- Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
- Level 6 Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Counselling

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
