About me
You deserve a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. My approach is warm, empathetic, and non‑judgemental, offering a supportive environment where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself, while also being gently encouraged to explore new perspectives and possibilities.
My style is compassionate and collaborative. I take the time to understand your experiences and meet you where you are, while offering thoughtful challenge when it feels helpful. Growth often comes from balancing kindness with honesty, and together we can explore patterns, deepen self‑awareness, and build practical tools that support lasting change.
🌿 About Me
My name is Anna, and I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist. I work with children, young people, adults, couples, and families, offering a safe, compassionate, and adaptable therapeutic space for people of all ages.
🧠 My Experience
With over 20 years of experience, I have supported adults facing a wide range of challenges, including:
Alcohol and drug-related issues
Domestic abuse
Childhood trauma
Depression and anxiety
Emotional instability
Low self-esteem and anger
Self-harm
Identity and LGBTQ+ issues
I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients and with adults who have experienced physical or sexual harm in childhood.
🌱 Working With Children
Alongside my work with adults, I have over two decades of experience supporting children in a therapeutic capacity. Much of this has involved working with children in care who have experienced significant trauma and loss.
I am passionate about offering creative, flexible, and child‑centred therapeutic support. I understand the pressures and complexities children face today, and I aim to help them navigate their emotions and experiences through regular, consistent counselling.
🎨 How I Work
I tailor my approach to the unique needs of each client. My therapeutic services include:
Talking therapy
Play therapy
Creative approaches
Gardening therapy
Walking therapy
I believe in thinking outside the box and meeting clients—especially children—where they are, using methods that feel natural and supportive for them.
🏡 My Practice
I am based in the village of Brantham, where I offer sessions in a warm, comfortable, and welcoming counselling room. My aim is to create a space where people feel safe, heard, and understood.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
