About me

I work with individuals and couples, and have over 20 years' experience of working with children and young people. I can support you if you would like to make positive changes in your life or relationship, if you would like to let go of the issues which could be holding you back or if you would simply like to tell your story and make sense of what's going on for you.

I am predominantly a person-centred counsellor, but I may also use a more integrative approach if it’s appropriate. This could mean we explore how your early life and relationships have shaped you and your current behaviours, beliefs and sense of self. If you are comfortable, we can work creatively, using sand, art or pictures, but always at your pace.

I will offer you a safe and confidential space to explore and address any difficulties or issues you are facing. It’s a chance to make sense of what’s going on for you in a calm and supportive environment, without the fear of judgement or criticism.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
