About me
I am a highly experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), offering ethical, professional and compassionate support.
I practise integrative therapy, drawing on perspectives informed by my MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and my BSc (Hons) in Psychology. I am also completing doctoral research in psychotherapy, focusing on strengthening the profession and improving the therapy experience.
My person‑centred approach offers tailored support to each client, with particular experience in working with men who may find it difficult to express themselves or talk openly about their inner world. Because therapy can evoke strong emotions, I provide a steady, grounded space to explore them safely.
While no therapist can guarantee specific outcomes, I bring extensive knowledge and experience that has helped many people make meaningful changes in their lives.
I work with a wide range of difficulties, including addiction, compulsions, depression, shame, guilt and burnout.
My principal areas of interest include:
- Relationships: Exploring challenges with partners, family or friends, including recurring conflict, emotional entanglement, communication difficulties and boundary issues. We can also work through the emotional impact of infidelity or breaches of trust.
- Anger: Understanding the roots of anger—whether linked to past experiences, relationships or unmet emotional needs—and developing practical strategies for expression, coping and resolution.
- Anxiety: Identifying the emotional, relational or situational factors that disrupt wellbeing, and building strategies that support greater calm, clarity and confidence.
- Self‑care: Supporting you to recognise and honour your needs and boundaries, strengthen self‑esteem, and cultivate a deeper sense of self‑worth and self‑respect.
- Perfectionism: Exploring the internal pressures that drive unrealistic standards or fear of failure, and addressing the self‑criticism, procrastination and anxiety that often accompany them.
My aim is to support you in developing greater wellbeing, resilience and a more grounded sense of yourself.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
