About me
I offer space to explore and unravel difficult experiences, emotions and patterns of relating. Whether you're struggling with overwhelm, anxiety, feeling hopeless, depressed, lost, angry, misunderstood or something that feels difficult verbalise. You may be coming with questions about identity, meaning, or change. Perhaps you just need space to be yourself.
My approach is collaborative, creative and inquisitive. However things look right now, I will meet you where you're at. For those who have had prior experience of mental health services - I'll help you process the highs and lows of these and work alongside you to co-create a space where you feel heard and supported. I will compassionately highlight observations and areas where you may be in misalignment with your values, so that you can deepen your self-knowing and build a life of intention.
I work pluralistically, drawing from different approaches depending on what you need from the space. Your preferences and ideas will be central to our work - I truly believe that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. I focus mostly on a blend of humanistic and psychodynamic frameworks, grounding and creative methods to help people explore in different ways. I sometimes offer behavioural, skills-based and psychoeducational tools if it feels appropriate. I work with the belief that relationships provide a pathway into understanding aspects of our experience. I pay close attention to how we relate to each other and invite you to reflect on how this may mirror other dynamics in your life.
I strive to be affirming of diverse identities and experiences - I often work with LGBTQIA+ and ENM folk but I welcome people of all backgrounds and identities.
I have worked alongside people facing a wide variety of challenges and take a non-pathologising approach which centres your choice and autonomy. I do not hold the answers, but I will walk alongside you and support you to navigate the complexity of life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
