About me
I am an experienced, qualified and registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I offer short and long-term therapy and counselling to individuals in Farnham Common, as well as online and via the telephone. I provide this in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment, one in which you are free to explore past experiences, current difficulties and future possibilities. I work in an integrative way. This simply means that my practice is not founded on just one therapeutic model. With many therapeutic approaches at my disposal, I am able to draw on the most appropriate approach in accordance with the needs of my client. No one client is the same; I believe that neither should my approach be.
Training, qualifications & experience
Having recognised the benefits of counselling as a client myself, I decided to train as a psychotherapist to be able to support others in their time of difficulty. After completing my postgraduate diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling, I worked for several accredited counselling services. Working with clients of all ages and with a wide range of presenting issues has helped broaden my skill set and helped me be more effective in my work. Currently, I run my own private practice and work for a local accredited counselling service.
Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling (Regents University, London).
Registered MBACP (Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists).
As part of my commitment to my practice, I engage in regular ongoing professional development and attend supervision on a monthly basis.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
