About me

Some things are hard to carry alone. You might be living with anxiety or depression that's become your baseline, still finding your footing after trauma, or navigating what it means to hold a marginalised identity in spaces that weren't built for you. Perhaps all of the above.

I work with adults who are ready to explore their inner world — not just to manage symptoms, but to understand them. My clients often come from LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and racially marginalised communities, and many are grappling with the particular exhaustion of moving through systems that overlook or harm them.

I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. That means I understand — not just theoretically — how identity, resilience, and healing intersect in complex ways. I won't ask you to simplify yourself to fit a framework.

Therapy with me is collaborative and unhurried. We go at your pace, following what feels most alive or most pressing. You don't need to arrive knowing what you want from the process — curiosity is enough to begin.

If any of this resonates, I offer a free initial consultation so we can explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained as an integrative psychotherapist at The Minster Centre, London, and hold an MSc in Mental Health Psychology. My clinical background spans over six years working with adults in crisis, community mental health settings, gender-diverse services, and group facilitation with the Hearing Voices Network.

I have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, childhood and sexual trauma, gender and sexual identity, inter- and trans-generational trauma, racism, cultural and religious oppression, and life with disability or chronic illness.

I am certified in safeguarding, crisis management, and suicide awareness.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a published writer. My work appears in BACP's Thresholds, poetry anthologies, and peer-reviewed academic research in the European Journal of Psychotherapy and Counselling (Taylor & Francis) — including research that won a European Trainee Essay Competition. Writing and therapy are, for me, two ways of doing the same thing: taking complex human experience seriously.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
