About me
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC, the British Psychological Society and the British Psychoanalytic Council.
I’m trained in several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy and psychodynamic models such as Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). I work integratively, adapting these methods to your individual needs. Above all, I believe therapy is most effective when there is a trusting, safe relationship where you can speak openly.
My experience
I provide talking therapy for adults dealing with depression, anxiety, phobias and trauma. I have significant experience supporting both male and female survivors of domestic violence and individuals diagnosed with PTSD.
I also work with clients experiencing burnout, chronic stress and work-related pressures, helping them understand underlying patterns and develop healthier ways of coping.
I have a particular interest in depression linked to relationship difficulties, an area where DIT can be especially effective.
Working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds has shaped my practice and helps me stay curious and attuned to each person’s unique context.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
