About me
I’m Addy, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Coach based in Bournemouth. I truly believe that seeking support takes great courage, and I’m here to help you navigate the challenges you are facing. The way we see the world is shaped by what we’ve been through and together, we can explore those patterns and create space for change by bringing the unconscious into the conscious.
Whether you’re feeling stuck in anxious thoughts, navigating grief, or struggling with self-esteem, I’m here to help you find clarity and calm.
Our therapeutic work can help you understand and embrace your unique experiences, identities, and challenges. I work with both individuals and couples, providing insight and connection in personal and relational dynamics. Therapy isn’t just about coping, it’s about rediscovering your strength and building a life that feels meaningful.
I also offer creative approaches to therapeutic work, accommodating in-person sessions or the convenience of online work. As a relational therapist, I pay attention to patterns of behaviour and believe the therapeutic relationship is a powerful catalyst for healing and growth.
As a therapist, I acknowledge the impact of societal structures, cultural norms, and power dynamics on your experiences and wellbeing. By examining these factors, I can better understand how they shape your life. This approach helps create a more inclusive and empowering therapeutic alliance.
