I have worked as a psychotherapeutic counsellor (UKCP registered) and Supervisor for the last 15 years and have a great deal of experience working with individuals, couples and groups.
I have worked for Mind, drug and alcohol rehabilitation services and was Co-Founder of Water Lane Cottage for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I was the clinical lead for 10 years, setting up and managing the low cost counselling service for the local community.
I offer confidential counselling for couples, adults and young people, enabling you to make the right choices for your future in an atmosphere of calm and tranquility. I am also trained in the re-wind technique which specifically helps with PTSD, flashbacks and phobias.
I fundamentally believe that psychological distress can be used as a developmental process, so that it does not hinder or impair further personal or professional development
