I aim to offer a warm, professional & confidential counselling service, where clients can feel safe to discuss any concerns they may have. I work with adults, young people and couples for short or long term counselling.
I have been a fully qualified counsellor for fifteen years and have gained a wide range of counselling experience from working within private practice, a doctors surgery, a comprehensive school and University setting and an NHS employee counselling service. In addition, I undertake work for Medical Companies and Employee Assisted Programmes.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP). I work to their code of ethics and untertake regular continuing Professional Development.
