A workshop for people who have experienced sexual abuse and for those that support them:
“Let It Go: Break Free From Shame, Secrecy, Relationship Difficulties and Sexual Confusion After Sexual Abuse”
A relaxed and friendly environment where we will come together to learn, share and support each other.
- break out of isolation and meet others in a safe space
- understanding fear of speaking out about abuse and what stops us
- carrying the shame of abuse, how to let it go
- anger turned inward anger turned outward, express it healthily
- anxiety about sex and how to increase intimacy
- our brain and understanding the impact of abuse neurologically
- communicating with friends and partners and rediscovering trust

Time: 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm
Venue: Islington Central London, N1
Cost: £60 or £50 Early Bird before 4th October 2017
£30 for low income and students
(price includes refreshments and extensive handouts)
Partners, friends, support workers and counsellors also very welcome.
The workshop is led by a survivor and all facilitators are professionally trained in counselling and group facilitation. BACP ethics apply.

Into The Light Support and Counselling for Survivors is a Not for profit project and CIC.
