Working with couples

This is a six-day course (three x two-days) designed to give experienced counsellors the necessary skills and underpinning knowledge to work with couples. Many clients present with relationship problems, and it is vital to have knowledge about the couple dynamics and underlying issues. 

Many counsellors take on relationship work and then discover it is much more demanding than one to one if you don't have specific training. 

You will be working with an integrated model of systemic and psychodynamic theories, and there will be skills practice to help you put theory into practice.
