Poetry Therapy is the intentional use of poetry and other forms of literature for healing and personal growth. Research over the last 30 years has found links between writing, health and well-being.
By attending the poetry therapy workshop and writing for well-being workshop, you will gain an opportunity to experience ways in which creativity and expressive writing can help you increase your confidence and resilience.
Charmaine Pollard and Christine Hollywood are members of Lapidus, the organisation working to promote writing for well-being, enjoyment and connection.

Charmaine Pollard is a (BACP) Accredited counsellor and writing therapist with 16 years’ experience of working with diverse communities. She is passionate how words can be used to bring about healing and transformation. Christine Hollywood is a writing for well-being practitioner. She uses the healing properties of writing and nature in her work.
