Why weight?

The Why Weight? programme is a new, ten week, cutting-edge approach to losing, and maintaining weight. It aims to demonstrate why "quick-fix" diets are not the answer, and that you are not to blame for the failure of them.

Sessions include:

  • What is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)?
  • How will this help in weight management - goal setting?
  • Thoughts and beliefs.
  • Unhelpful thinking styles.
  • Schemas.
  • Personal activities and exercise.
  • Core beliefs about the self.
  • Emotions and feelings.
  • Remaining focused.
  • Relapse prevention.
