This workshop is aimed at counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists who are interested in trauma and relational attachment. The day is designed to keep participants abreast of the latest thinking and developments and work with their own process through this practical and therapeutically focused workshop.

Judy Yellin is an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist who specialises in working with trauma.

Topics covered will include:

  • Defining trauma.
  • How does trauma appear in the therapy room.
  • Self-regulation and co-regulation.
  • Working with child states within the adult.
  • Dissociative disorder - what it looks like and how to know what you are seeing when you see it.
  • The different creative ways to work with trauma in children and adults.

There will be a 9.30am registration and coffee for participants to introduce themselves and network. The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm with tea and lunch breaks.  

Please note that places are limited to only 35 people due to the interactive nature of this particular workshop.
