Sometimes in counselling we find ourselves working a lot with specific issues. When an issue comes along that is a little different, it can be helpful to look in more depth at how to work with this issue.
OPALS is now going to run a series of workshops that highlight fairly common issues brought by our clients and gives you an opportunity to refresh your thoughts/ideas and ways of meeting these issues.
In this part one we are looking at obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and bereavement (loss and fear).
The day will cover:
- How OCD presents itself.
- Ways to work with OCD.
- Bereavement/loss and fear.
- How clients might present with bereavement.
- Ways to work with bereavement.
- How to support your clients in these areas.
We will share:
- Our experience and our knowledge.
