Robin Shohet has long been interested in how people learn and it seems that the ability to welcome so-called mistakes and failures is a very important component. In a world that is increasingly litigious, how do we ensure that supervision is a safe place to explore, and a place where we are encouraged to take risks both in the supervision itself and in our work. How can we create a space where not knowing is welcomed rather than its being a call to premature action to relieve anxiety? And how can the supervisory relationship be strengthened to be able to tolerate uncertainty when the world is screaming for answers?

The day will be completely experiential and, in keeping with the title, will be emergent

This is a one-day workshop is suitable for supervisors and supervisees, experienced and novice, and can be booked through www.therapychallenges.com
