New supervision group with a focus on couple counselling

You are invited to join a new supervision group with a focus on couple counselling.

Starting: Saturday 9th May 2015, 3pm - 5pm. Thereafter the first Saturday of each month (excluding August).

It will provide an opportunity to obtain CPD and supervision on client work with couples, to deepen your understanding of the couple relationship and to enhance your skills and therapeutic work with couples.

It is suitable for qualified counsellors who are already working with couples or who are planning to, having completed a relevant training course.

The supervision model is integrative, experiential and informative. All therapeutic models of working are welcome.

We will strive to facilitate a small, safe and supportive group of practitioners who develop a collaborative working relationship, each bringing a thoughtful contribution to the supervision experience.

Supervisees bring case work with a focus on couples in roughly equal rotation and, in sharing their experience of their work with the group, can benefit not only from a direct supervisory relationship, but also the collaborative exploration with the group - which of course, includes the observation, reflection and participation of the supervisors.

Each session will count for two hours CPD. Depending on the number of participants, a proportion can also be used towards your supervision requirements.
