Mindfulness-based stress reduction course for women
This mindfulness-based stress reduction course for women only will run for a period of eight weeks starting on the 1st February 2017 and will continue on 8th, 15th, 22nd February, and 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd March 2017, for two hours each Wednesday morning.
On the course you will learn how to:

- Cultivate gratitude and become more compassionate.
- Improve focus and attention.
- Gain greater self-awareness and change unhelpful patterns.
- Manage difficult thoughts and feelings.
- Manage stress in everyday life.
Research has consistently shown that mindfulness can help people reduce their stress levels and protect against depression.
During this course, participants will explore and learn a variety of relaxation, meditation, breathing techniques and cognitive skills. For maximum benefit, daily mindfulness practice is encouraged. A detailed handbook is provided, and an audio CD of all Mindfulness exercises accompanies the programme.

Neelam is a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, trained in integrative counselling and psychotherapy since 2004. She has training in mindfulness practice to diploma level and has run a number of mindfulness, anxiety, relaxation and stress groups.
