Living and loving your legacy - writing for well-being
“You have no idea what your legacy will be. It is every life that has ever been touched, uplifted, moved, or not moved by everything you did and shared.” - Maya Angelou
Poetry Therapy is the intentional use of poetry and other forms of literature for healing and personal growth. Research over the last 30 years has found links between writing, health and wellbeing.
Your legacy is something you create during your lifetime; it is a gift you give to others.
Charmaine Pollard will be facilitating a free ten week group, based on reading and writing poetry to promote health and well-being. We will use therapeutic writing to clarify your legacy and enable you to see your worth and value.
People often associate legacy with death and dying, how we live our lives is our legacy.
This group will help you create meaningful change in your own life as well as in the lives of others.
No formal experience of creative writing is required, please bring a notebook and pen.
Come and join us and enhance your confidence and self-esteem.
