The primitive and unconscious nature of projective identification makes it a difficult concept for us to grasp, and yet it is vital to try to be aware of how it operates in the couple’s relationship and of how we too can get caught up in it in the consulting room.

This workshop is suitable for both individual and couple counsellors who want to understand more about projective identification in order to work more effectively with relationship distress.
