Introduction to shadow work for psychotherapists and counsellors
Develop your practice by learning new and powerful techniques for working with shadow parts of the self. These techniques can be incorporated into your existing way of working.
Work with your own shadow to explore blocks that are limiting you in your practice and in other areas of your life.
Bring clarity to your practice by working constructively and collaboratively with your clients when:
- there is a block in the therapy
- you feel challenged criticised or deskilled
- the client is not responding to your usual modality you and you want to deepen the work you are doing with your client
- you are working with strong projections, defences or resistance
This workshop is predominantly experiential and includes both practising the tools learnt and exploring your own shadow. Each participant has the opportunity to work with their own shadow facilitated by Marianne.
Through working with the shadow directly, a lot can change for your and your clients.
Please come and find out how exploring the shadow can support you and your practice...
NB start time on the Friday is 2pm. Enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am helping to promote this workshop because I recently attended one and it‘s amazing! I came out feeling more authoritative in both my practice and my personal life.
Marianne‘s care for the group was particularly noteworthy - she maintains boundaries with a gentle respect and kept everyone safe which meant we were free to explore ourselves and our practice in as much depth as we chose. Do consider attending - I‘m confident you‘ll get so much from it.
