This course will use sandtray work to explore the work of Edward Edinger who wrote the seminal work 'Anatomy of the Psyche: Alchemical Symbolism in Psychotherapy'. John has spent many years studying the rich symbolism of alchemy and its relevance as a therapeutic journey. The course will provide a way of looking at ourselves and our work as therapists in understanding the alchemical processes of calcination, solution, coagulation, sublimation, mortification, separation and conjunction. This is the first time this course has been offered in the South West.
