Thank you for your interest in the above course.

This course is suitable for experienced therapists who feel ready to formalise their supervision skills and gain qualification. The course is designed to offer participants from differing approaches, the experience of supervising within their own approach and also the challenge of supervising those from a different approach. The course is experiential in nature but with clear reference to theory.

The course has also been designed to provide a set of assignments which run parallel to the BACP requirements for senior accreditation as a supervisor. Unfortunately at this time, the BACP does not accredit any supervision courses.

Costs:

The total cost of the course will be £1,900.

There is an early-bird discount of £50 if you book six weeks before the start of your course.

Your place will be secured with a non-refundable deposit of £300 and you may choose to pay the remainder in full at the start of the course, or pay equal instalments by monthly standing order. Full details upon enrolment. N.B. Once the course has started the full fee is payable regardless of attendance.

Cheques should be crossed and made payable to ‘Ibis Consultancy’.

Entry requirements:

In addition to the non-refundable deposit you will also be required to either submit a short outline detailing why supervision is important and why you feel ready to undertake this professional responsibility; or you will be asked to undertake a telephone interview with one of the course tutors.

You will be required to have attained a professional qualification and be suitably post qualified, (according to your professional body), to enable you to provide supervision to your chosen profession.

There is also an expectation that you will be able to undertake supervision practice with two supervisees external to the course; this is important for your practice hours, but also in terms of your taped assessment at the end of the course.

Accreditation:

This course is written and set up to provide participants with enough practice hours and appropriate written assignments to enable them to apply for BACP accreditation at the end of the course.
