This intensive three day course offers the attendee the opportunity to develop their counselling skills, including enhancing their listening, empathic and relational abilities. This is done through a variety of teaching and learning methods, all based around the use of techniques regularly used in the counselling room.

Those who attend this course may be thinking about a future career in counselling, or may want to improve their ability to relate to others in their work or personal lives. As such it is useful for all who work (and live) with others!

Course attendees will be given lunch on each day, and will also be offered a ticket to the LCPC film night on Friday 5th May - where a group will watch a film and then discuss the psychodynamic themes. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other therapists, trainees and those interested in therapy, and to learn through participation.
