It will give you frameworks which are well tried and tested in a therapeutic relationship context. It will show you how to help abused people to begin to talk and share their story whilst giving you tools to help them heal.

The cost is £90 per day

Aims and objectives

  • To introduce you the many faces of abuse.
  • How to spot the indicators of the abusive process.
  • How to help abused people share and explore safely their story.
  • How to best support them and yourself in the work.
  • How not to fall into the drama triangle and keep both of you safe.
  • Build resilience in the Client.
  • Understand the longer view and how that helps them bring closure.

On completion you will feel more confident and aware of how to help abused people to cope and separate themselves from an abusive relationship. You will have tools to help them understand and build resilience in themselves. You will also explore helping them to cope for the long view. You will value yourself and your skills and abilities.
