Counsellor Profile

Anita has been featured in The Times and Healthy Magazine as well as being interviewed on BBC Radio and Sky TV. She is the author of "Rekindle the Magic in Your Relationship ~ Making Love Work" and believes the most important relationship is with ourselves...it is so important to love ourselves. To do this we must become more aware, know what we want, give and receive well, communicate effectively, maintain self-worth, have fun, change old patterns and feel grateful for the good things in our lives. Anita believes we are all unique and capable of achieving anything we want to. Our beliefs and what we focus on with our thoughts and images, whether consciously or unconsciously, affect our lives. Because of her own experiences, beliefs and gratitude she loves helping others.

You probably have many roles eg mother, sister, daughter, sportsperson, job, etc. You also have many emotions eg love, anger, fear, anxiety, etc. The challenge is to manage them all.

Just imagine an orchestra without a conductor and all the instruments playing when and how they want...not a very good sound or much harmony. Now imagine an orchestra with a conductor who brings each instrument in at the right time, tempo, etc...great harmony and good listening.

You too can be the conductor of all your roles and parts and emotions.

Counselling individuals and running groups for more than 10 years, integrating imagery, vocal expression, simple art, meditation and body work/movement.
Teach Psychosynthesis and imagery as module on counselling courses.
