Liz Annable - BACP Accredited Counsellor, Supervision & Consultancy
My starting point is a deep respect for all supportive relationships.
I'm interested in the way you choose to express yourself within them. My intention is to forge a collaborative, trustworthy and steady working relationship that affords you the security to speak about and make sense of all that you encounter.
I see supervision and consultancy as a restorative space to process and release, to help clarify thinking and support decision making. I aim to open and hold a reflective space and to recognise and enable our shared potency to emerge. I identify as Person Centred and this enables me to ensure you feel heard, valued and understood as a professional. This also underpins the way in which I support you to explore difficult or ethical dilemmas and to reflexively examine areas such as organizational, environmental or cultural structures you are part of.
I completed post-grad training as a supervisor in 2009 and my counselling experience has been gained via all sectors of education, within mental health, end of life care, eating disorders and via EAPs. The majority of my current work is in private practice.
I have energy and commitment to a range of connections in the therapeutic world, the fruits of which I will bring to our work. I feel deeply rooted on a path of development personally and professionally. Influences that also provide me with multiple opportunities for growth include mindfulness practice, encounter groups, reflective practice, retreats and working expressively.
My practice is primarily in Sheffield.
