About me
Helping people move from overwhelmed to empowered.
Life can feel exhausting when anxiety, OCD, overthinking, low confidence or ADHD leave you feeling stuck. Therapy doesn’t have to be about simply talking—it can be about understanding what’s keeping you trapped and learning practical ways to move forward.
I’m Haylee Ford, an Accredited BACP Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. I specialise in supporting adults, children and young people experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, low self-esteem, confidence difficulties, ADHD/AuDHD, emotional overwhelm and trauma.
I combine evidence-based approaches including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Clinical Hypnotherapy to create a personalised approach that meets your individual needs. Whether you’re struggling with panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, burnout, people-pleasing, low mood or feeling like you’ve lost yourself, we’ll work together to help you regain confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, and a Higher Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Alongside my private practice, I also work with clients referred through Bupa and Vitality, as well as supporting clients through schools and GP practices across Monmouthshire.
My particular interests include anxiety disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), ADHD and AuDHD, depression, low self-esteem, confidence difficulties, stress, burnout, trauma, and children’s and young people’s emotional wellbeing.
Above all, I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood and supported. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply feel overwhelmed by life, my aim is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthier coping strategies, build lasting confidence and create meaningful, long-term change.
