About me
I know personally how healing from trauma, overcoming adversity, and reclaiming your life is not an easy journey, but it is possible with the right support. As a counsellor and trauma-informed coach, I support women and girls in navigating the complex emotions and challenges that come with surviving trauma, domestic abuse, and chronic pain. (I am a Fibrowarrior so work a lot with women who have chronic pain). My work is not just about offering coping strategies, it’s about helping women break free from emotional pain, rebuild their confidence, and live a life they never thought possible. As an ADHD'er I also work with ADHD and coping tools.
I understand firsthand how trauma and chronic illness can shape a person’s world. My own journey has been anything but conventional, and it’s this lived experience, combined with professional training that allows me to connect with my clients on a deep, authentic level. I know what it feels like to be stuck, to feel broken, and to struggle with the weight of past experiences. I also know the immense power of healing, transformation, and reclaiming your identity. That’s why I do what I do.
I blend a variety of therapeutic techniques with a coaching mindset that focuses on forward movement and empowerment. While traditional therapy often looks at past experiences and how they shape us, my approach goes beyond that, I help my clients process their trauma while also providing practical strategies to create lasting change.
Some of the core techniques I use include:
Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) – A powerful method for addressing emotional imprints and trauma-related patterns, allowing clients to break free from distressing memories and limiting beliefs.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) – Also known as ‘tapping,’ this tool helps clients release emotional blocks and manage stress, anxiety, and chronic pain.
Trauma-Informed Coaching – I guide women to rebuild their confidence, set boundaries, and regain control of their lives in a way that feels safe and empowering.
Integrative Counselling – I create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to process their emotions, work through self-doubt, and develop self-compassion using the above methods as and when needed or wanted.
One of the things that makes my approach unique is the balance between emotional work and practical, real-world strategies. Healing doesn’t just happen in the therapy room, it needs to be integrated into daily life. My clients learn not only how to process their trauma but also how to build the skills, mindset, and confidence to move forward.
My passion for this work isn’t just professional, it’s personal.
Growing up in a non-emotional family and struggling with undiagnosed ADHD, I turned to alcohol and drugs as a way to cope. By my teens, I was navigating addiction, abusive relationships, and an overwhelming sense of self-destruction. I hit rock bottom. At the time, I didn’t believe that life could be any different. I fought my way back, step by step, reclaiming my life, my identity, and my future. Now, as a mother of two, one of whom has autism and ADHD, I understand both the struggles of breaking generational cycles and the weight of parental guilt. I know how trauma can manifest in different ways and how difficult it can be to balance personal healing with everyday responsibilities.
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a chronic pain condition that affects every aspect of daily life. Living with chronic pain while juggling work, motherhood, and my own mental well-being has been one of my biggest challenges. It’s given me firsthand insight into the mind-body connection, the role of trauma in chronic illness, and the importance of holistic healing. I use this knowledge to support women who, like me, are navigating both physical and emotional pain.
One of the most powerful aspects of healing is community. No one should have to navigate trauma, abuse recovery, or chronic illness alone. That’s why I’ve created safe, supportive spaces where women can connect, share, and heal together. The Narci-Sisters community is a space for women who have survived narcissistic abuse, whether from partners, parents, or other relationships. Gaslighting, manipulation, and emotional abuse can leave deep scars, and breaking free from these toxic dynamics requires more than just knowledge, it requires emotional support, validation, and strategies for rebuilding self-worth.
My Fibromyalgia support group is a space for women who are not only managing chronic pain but also navigating the emotional toll that comes with it. Many people don’t realize that fibromyalgia is often linked to past trauma, and that healing the nervous system is just as important as managing physical symptoms.
Both of these communities offer a safe space, real talk, and a no-judgment environment where women can feel seen, heard, and understood. I am the facilitator and also an active member which is one of the reasons I started them.
At the core of everything I do is a commitment to authenticity, empowerment, and deep healing.
Every woman I work with has a story. Some arrive in my room or online feeling lost, broken, or disconnected from themselves. But as we work together, something shifts. They start to see their own strength, their own worth, and the possibilities ahead of them. That transformation is why I do this work. I love seeing someone smile after misery.
