About me

I'm a qualified Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and Menopause Coach, offering a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever you're experiencing.

Sometimes we know that something isn't quite right, but we don't always know why, or where to begin. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low in confidence, struggling with relationships or life changes, or finding that past experiences are continuing to affect you in the present. Counselling can provide a space to slow things down, make sense of what you're feeling and begin to understand yourself with greater compassion.

I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role isn't to tell you what to do, but to listen, help you explore what is happening for you and support you in finding your own way forward. I work collaboratively and at your pace, creating space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement.

I have a particular interest in supporting people who identify as Highly Sensitive People (HSP) Being highly sensitive can mean experiencing emotions, environments and relationships very deeply, and what can sometimes be described as being 'Too sensitive' can actually be a natural trait that brings its own strengths as well as challenges. Having an understanding of this can make real differences to how we view ourselves.

I also currently work with a specialist charity supporting parents and grandparents affected by pregnancy and baby loss, as well as experiences of birth trauma. This work has given me valuable experiences of supporting people through grief, trauma, anxiety and the complex emotions that can accompany these experiences.

Alongside Counselling, I am also a qualified Hypnotherapist. Hypnotherapy can be incorporated where appropriate to support areas such as anxiety, confidence, relaxation, sleep and emotional wellbeing.

I also offer other specialist Menopause Coaching. Menopause can bring significant physical, emotional and psychological changes and it can sometimes feel as though you no longer recognise yourself. My approach looks at the whole person, helping you understand the changes you are experiencing and supporting you to make realistic, sustainable changes that work for you.

I am NCPS Accredited Registrant and am committed to providing ethical, professional and compassionate support.

If your considering counselling but aren't sure whether it's right for you, you don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Sometimes the first step is simply having somewhere safe to start.
