About me
Are you feeling constantly on edge, overthinking, or emotionally drained from trying to hold everything together?
You might be struggling with anxiety that doesn’t switch off, grief that feels heavier than you expected, or past experiences that still affect how you feel day to day. Sometimes, even when things look “fine” on the outside, something inside just doesn’t feel settled.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
How I can help
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly about what’s going on, at your own pace. But I won’t just sit silently—I’ll gently guide you in making sense of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, especially when things feel confusing or overwhelming.
Together, we can:
- understand what’s behind your anxiety or emotional overwhelm
- process grief and loss in a way that feels manageable
- explore how past experiences may still be impacting you
- help you feel more grounded, more in control, and more like yourself again.
My approach
I work in a warm, down-to-earth and collaborative way. That means we work together—you’re not expected to have the right words or know where to start.
I draw on an integrative approach, adapting how I work depending on you and what you need. This might include gently exploring the past, understanding present patterns, and finding practical ways to cope in everyday life.
Alongside my training, I also bring lived experience of grief and anxiety. I understand how complex and heavy these feelings can be—not just professionally, but personally too.
Cultural understanding & language
I also offer support in Punjabi and Urdu, which can be helpful if you feel more comfortable expressing yourself in your first language.
As a qualified counsellor, I understand that cultural values, family expectations, and faith can play an important role in how we experience things like anxiety, grief, and relationships. If this is important to you, we can gently explore this as part of our work together.
Areas I support
I particularly support people who are:
- feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck
- navigating grief, bereavement, or different types of loss
- affected by past trauma or difficult experiences
- struggling with relationship challenges or patterns.
What it’s like to work with me
Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly and appreciate having both space to talk and gentle guidance when they feel stuck.
My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported—while also helping you move towards meaningful change.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
