About me
Healing Hearts, Inspiring Hope
At times, life can feel heavy - whether you constantly doubt yourself, focus on your mistakes, or feel that no matter how hard you try, you always fall short. You may struggle with self-criticism, perfectionism, shame, or a persistent feeling that you’re never quite good enough.
It doesn't have to be this way. I offer a warm, compassionate space where we can explore these experiences together and begin to develop a kinder relationship with yourself, moving towards healing, growth, and wholeness.
Grounded in compassion, I help people reconnect with their true selves, befriend difficult emotions, and make sense of their inner world.
I have a particular interest in supporting those who struggle with self-criticism to develop a kinder, more compassionate relationship with themselves.
As a Christian counsellor, I can integrate faith into our work if that’s meaningful to you, and I warmly welcome clients of all faiths or none.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to you - drawing on a range of therapeutic models to support both present challenges and deeper patterns. I believe a strong, trusting relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. When you feel safe enough, it becomes easier to explore, grow, and create lasting change.
Whether you are looking to cope more effectively with current challenges or are on a journey towards deeper personal growth, I would be honoured to support you.
There is space here for you to come just as you are - and space to grow.

Testimonials
"I had lost my way and now have direction in my life again"
“Yein has helped me through a difficult part of my life. I am normally a glass half full person, however that recently changed to what I can only describe like being in a hole with no route out. Yein helped me find my way out. Thank you Yein.”
"My experience with Yein can only be described as a real journey… after 12 sessions i am now equipped to improve my mental health, my life and the lives of those i care about. I am truly grateful for our time together."
“Yein took me down some very dark depths of my mind bringing pain and many tears with each session probing deeper and deeper into my very unhappy childhood. The sessions brought to the surface some very interesting facts which I had either hid away in my mind or completely forgotten. I commend Yein on his total dedication. His extremely professional way he went about his job set me totally at ease enabling me to open up completely to him and aid my own self awareness of my problems. I would like to highly recommend him as I believe he would be a fantastic asset to any client.”
“He was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and explained the purpose of counselling. He supported me in a nonjudgemental manner and not only dealt with my physical problems but also my emotional and spiritual problems. I am grateful for this opportunity and thank Yein for the calming influence of his personality during each session.”
