About me

I provide dedicated time for you. No matter what it is you are going through, together we can address, explore and understand what you need to be okay and live a more fulfilled life.

I am open and inclusive, welcoming people of all backgrounds, genders, sexuality and ethnicity. I am LGBTQ+ aware.

Psychotherapy is a non-judgemental, safe and confidential space for you to talk openly about anything that you want to. It offers dedicated and protected time, without distraction for you to explore your experiences and understand yourself and your relationships better.

For some, short term therapy is enough and is all you need to work through a particular issue

For others, it can take time to understand, explore and detangle the psychological underpinnings of your distress. It can be hard work and painful but can be an enlightening and transformative experience offering a renewed sense of possibility and hope.

Engaging in this process with me can help you discover who you are, what really matters to you and how you want to be in the world.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

If you contact me, I will aim to respond to you within 24 hours and we can arrange to meet for an initial session at a time that is mutually convenient. Our first session will last 50minutes and will be an opportunity for me to understand the challenges you are facing, explore any concerns you may have, and for us both to get to know each other a little bit and consider how therapy may help you.

If we agree to proceed together, we will arrange a regular day and time that works for us both.

If you are unable to attend, please let me know a week in advance in order to avoid being charged.

The length of therapy can vary. You may want to come for a few weeks or months or would prefer to engage in longer-term open-ended therapy. We can discuss this when we first meet.
