About me

My psychotherapy practice offers a non-judgemental, safe and confidential space for you to talk openly about anything that you want to. You will have dedicated and protected time, without distraction to explore your experiences and understand yourself and your relationships better.

I enjoy working with people relationally and co-creatively to help them explore, make sense of and integrate past experiences to live the life they want to in the present.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • MSc in Relational Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy / Certified Transactional Analyst
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology
  • BA Hons in Psychology and Sociology.

Alongside my private psychotherapy practice, I am a psychotherapist for The School of Life.

My previous experience has included work as a therapist and clinical assessor for Highbury Counselling Centre and as a therapist for an Employment Assistance Programme where I worked with people all over the country as well as internationally.

Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a referral and support officer in a child protection and safeguarding service for a London council and as a Montessori school assistant with children between the ages of 6 months to 12 years of age.

As part of my psychotherapy training, I also completed a placement within a psychiatric liaison team at a London hospital whereby I gained experience of the ways of working with and treating various psychiatric presentations, including psychosis.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UK Council for Psychotherapy

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

If you contact me, I will aim to respond to you within 24 hours and we can arrange to meet for an initial session at a time that is mutually convenient. Our first session will last up to one hour and will be an opportunity for us to explore your concerns and the ways that therapy may help you.

If we agree to proceed together, we will arrange a regular day and time that works for us both and meet on a weekly basis.

I carry out face-to-face, telephone and on-line video sessions.

If you are unable to attend, please let me know a week in advance in order to avoid being charged.

The length of therapy can vary. You may want to come for a few weeks or months or would prefer to engage in longer-term open-ended therapy. We can discuss this when we first meet.
