About me
I will help you to find yourself.
You already have all the skills and knowledge you need to enjoy a fulfilling life: sometimes circumstances make it difficult to see how. Person Centred Counselling focusses on your experience and concerns, giving you space to feel safe and explore without judgement, or fear of shame.
I have Person Centred Creative Arts( PCAT)certificate training and offer creative counselling alongside traditional talking therapy: whatever you need.
I work with all age groups and welcome enquiries as such. Face to face work is better suited to young people.
My specialisms are Neurodiversity and Special Educational Needs, Creativity, Domestic Violence, Disability and Carers, Parent and Family concerns (esp Maternity), LGBT+, Trauma, Anxiety and Depression.
I have particular expertise in working with neurodivergent young people. I have a flexible, creative approach which prioritises safety, trust and rapport, employing principles of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy. Children and young people enjoy self directed sessions where their self esteem flourishes.
I am a nature lover and artist, and work part time as a counselling tutor, I have an MSc in Psychology, with a special interest in mental health in Parent Carers.

Further information
My counselling provides a confidential and welcoming environment in which you may explore your feelings and personal history, free from judgement or shame.
I am able to support you in this process, and can provide creative resources to help you to express yourself fully. This flexibility can be especially valuable for children and young people.
If you have a specific focus for seeking counselling, or if you have a vague sense of wanting impartial and private support, I am able to help you explore your inner world.
