Wendy Padley MA, MSc, Registered MBACP
3 Abbey Street
I can help you with relationship issues, anxiety, or depression, or other issues that are affecting you. You might be feeling that something is missing, or there must be more to life, feeling sad for no reason, or you could be struggling with life change or other issues. You can change things in your life, or live better with those things you can't change.
We all want to feel in control, loved for ourselves, and valued. But there are times for all of us when we don't feel any of that. I'm an experienced, fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. Talking with a trained counsellor can be such a big relief, even if you can't change your current situation. It's the start of a process that changes your life.
I help you work through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour in a non-judgemental way. We'll work towards understanding where these comes from so we can change how you deal with them.
I can offer you counselling as a short term service (up to 6 weeks), or psychotherapy as a longer term commitment, up to 2 years or longer, depending upon your needs. Together we'll explore your difficulties and think about where these come from to help you change how you deal with them.
I've worked for a number of years in a respected voluntary sector agency, with the NHS in a specialist psychotherapy service, and in a Higher Education setting.
I currently practice from a quiet office in Market Harborough, with easy access from the A14, A6, A427 and local to the M1.
