About me

Hey I'm Vince

I'm an integrative counsellor with extensive experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. With my professional background spanning across inpatient mental health, neurology, community care, and hospital discharge, I bring a grounded, compassionate understanding of how emotional, cognitive, and practical difficulties shape people’s lives.

I work holistically, focusing on what truly matters to each individual. My approach is warm, relational, and deeply respectful of the client’s lived experience. Whether supporting someone through emotional distress, navigating complex family dynamics, or adjusting to significant life changes, I bring care, curiosity, and a commitment to helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am an Accredited Registrant (MNCPS Acc.) with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

Alongside my counselling experience, my work in mental health wards, elderly care, and neurology has given me a unique insight into the realities clients and families face — from sudden life‑changing diagnoses to long‑term struggles with wellbeing, identity, and support systems. Across every role, I have been someone people feel able to open up to, often sharing experiences they have never voiced before. I take pride in my ability to build rapport quickly, communicate clearly, and offer a calm, steady presence during moments of uncertainty or overwhelm.

My work within various roles in the NHS means I have a wide scope of additional knowledge from both my years of experience as well as from access to various additional training on a wide range of topics, including but limited to neurodiversity, safeguarding and information governance.
