About me

Hello and welcome!

Life is full of challenges and sometimes we need someone to turn to when we are stuck. It can be helpful to talk to someone who isn’t family or friend.

I work as a counsellor for young people and adults. I have a private practice and have worked for charities in Berkshire.

How counselling can help:

We have inner resources to heal, change and grow. Sometimes, we can silence our inner voice. I take the time to reconnect you to your inner voice, help you have deeper understanding of who you are, so that you can find your way forward.

Each person is unique, I focus on the quality of the relationship between us, working collaboratively, building trust and valuing core beliefs.

How I have helped clients:

I have helped clients take decisions which they were hesitant about prior to coming to therapy. They were people pleasers stuck in unhappy situations.

They felt heard for which they were very grateful. They made transformative changes, which they never believed they could.

If this sounds like you, give me a call.

How I work:

My core model - places the client at the heart of the work.  I believe given the right conditions people have the ability to grow in a positive way.

I understand what it feels to be left out in a group, to form strong bonds with people. Perhaps you find it difficult to form strong attachments with family members. This can leave you feeling numb, abandoned, angry and confused.

I can help you with this confusion, your thoughts and emotions without judgement.

I have helped neurodivergent clients thought their autistic meltdowns and emotional traumas, and have helped them in building their resilience, confidence and self compassion.

Whatever your age or circumstances, I offer a safe space where you can express yourself and your feelings without fear of judgement.

How to get started:

I currently offer counselling by phone or video call. The first initial consultation is free for half an hour. This gives you the opportunity to see how I work. We can then arrange sessions weekly, or fortnightly at a pace suited to you.
