About me
I work mainly with female identifying individuals who are experiencing both mental health and physical health issues and seeking an approach that involves their body. Often my clients long to be free of the burden of their traumatic pasts but have done their research and understand that lasting change can only happen when the body is acknowledged as this is where trauma resides. So as well as talking I help clients to become curious about what is happening in their body and to create a dialogue between the body and the mind.
I help clients to explore their experiences without judgement, to notice feelings and sensations in the body, to make links between thoughts and feelings. I offer tools for self regulating and grounding. Through my empathic, embodied and creative approach clients develop self compassion and move towards accepting what is, rather than longing for a different reality.
Many of my clients are additionally struggling with reproductive issues, chronic health conditions and ADHD. I have years of experience and offer a deeply empathic, sensitive space that welcomes all of you. I hold you in a gentle process where you can begin to think of your body as your home and start living better.
