About me

Hello, I'm Victoria, a person-centred counsellor offering services locally and online depending on your needs. Effective therapy always begins with a safe and trusting relationship between you and your counsellor. That's why it is so important to find the right person for you. I'm happy to offer a free initial phone call to see if we might be a good fit for working together. It is important to me that you feel seen and understood as an individual. I will work hard to ensure you have a safe, judgement-free space to work through your problems in confidence and at your own pace. You won't ever be forced to talk about things you don't want to and I will respect your priorities and boundaries. I don't have a set way of working as this can vary from client to client, however, I like to prioritise compassion and self-acceptance. You might not even know what the problem is, or just have a general feeling that you're struggling in life - that's ok, we can figure it out together.

As a person, I'm happiest when I'm doing anything creative, my favourite place to be is the beach and I have a deep and continuous fascination with people and what makes them who they are.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a diploma of higher education in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy. My post qualification training has centred on working with Trauma, Neurodivergence, Neuroscience and Addiction. I am a member of COSCA.
