About me

Hello, I'm Victoria. I'm an experienced counsellor and wellbeing advisor. Qualified in helping adults and young people with their mental health and wellbeing. Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious and fed up with feeling this way? I'm here to help.

Together we can explore in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment what is causing you distress. Empowering you to live your life, the way you want.

I offer traditional talking therapy or more goal-orientated therapy. As an experienced wellbeing advisor, we can also look holistically at improving your over all health, mental health and wellbeing.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, identity and neurodivergence. I also work with loss, bereavement, birth trauma and PTSD. If you have experienced a traumatic event and feel it is time to process it, I can provide a safe space for you to do this, supporting you all the way. I offer a free telephone assessment so that you can decide if I am the right therapist for you.

We can work in person, online or via the telephone.

I can also offer walk-and-talk therapy, combining the benefits of counselling with the physical benefits of exercise. If this is of interest to you please let me know.

If you are a new parent and struggling with post-natal anxiety and or depression, we can walk and talk and the baby can come along too. Being a new parent is tough and you are not alone.

Please get in touch and I will call or email you back. You can then decide how you would like to proceed.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
