About me
Everyone has their own story and reasons for seeking therapy. Maybe you want to understand and improve your family or couple relationships, process your past and present experiences, or are seeking a safe space to understand your thoughts and feelings in a world that can often lead us to feel overwhelmed.
As a systemic psychotherapist, I am committed to joining you on that journey. I can see you on your own, with a significant other or with your family.
I understand that finding and choosing a therapist is personal and can be challenging in itself, to support with this I offer a free 15-30 minute video consultation. An opportunity to discuss your specific needs and hopes, and for us to explore together if we would be a good therapeutic match.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified systemic psychotherapist and have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 20 years. This experience has taught me the significance of providing a safe therapeutic space for you to feel seen and heard as you process your experiences, and your relationship with yourself and others around you.
I work with:
- Couples
- Families
- Groups
- Individuals
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Relationships
I understand that our relationships with ourselves and those around us have a profound effect on our emotional well-being. I provide a safe space to be seen and heard, while we explore your worries, fears, and hopes for change.
Parenting
Many parents are putting in a great deal of time and energy into parenting but because there is no linear road map they find themselves struggling to navigate the various stages and milestones. We live in a diverse and ever-changing society where new ideas about parenting can often feel contradictory to our cultural, religious, and family norms. Systemic therapy can help you navigate and adapt to the different stages of parenting while remaining connected to your children.
Family
Families come in diverse forms, types and sizes, whether that be nuclear, extended, blended, sole parent, heterosexual, same-sex families, adopted and foster cared for children. Using a systemic approach allows all voices to be heard, factoring in the various inter-generational matters, misunderstandings and communication styles.
Separation
Divorce and separation can be challenging and affect a range of relationships. This may involve decisions around moving house and co-parenting. Together, we can take the time to process the impact of this significant change and begin to navigate what life might look like after separation.
