About me
It can be difficult to find the right person to be vulnerable and speak through your personal life. Therefore, I offer relational counselling and psychotherapy, to enable us to build a therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable disclosing your experiences. I have worked successfully with clients from various backgrounds, including professionals, business owners, entertainers, medical professionals, the unemployed, and everyone in between.
I work with individuals struggling with life and work challenges, anxiety, anger, relationship and family difficulties, infidelity, depression, bereavement, racism isolation, identity issues, trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence, cancer, and relationship breakdown. identity issues, abuse, health challenges, finding meaning, and career direction.
I have experience working in the NHS within South London and Maudsley, as well as MacMillan as a Psychotherapist (supporting patients and families dealing with cancer) and in private practice.
My integrative practice allows me to adapt my approach to your unique needs.
Next Steps
The first step is to contact me outlining what has brought you to therapy via email. We will arrange an initial session. If we decide to work together we will normally agree a series weekly sessions, after which time we will review to see if more sessions will be beneficial to you. Alternatively, you can see how you feel one week at a time.
Training, qualifications & experience
I studied Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy as a Masters at the University of Roehampton. I worked at South London and Maudsley Hospital, with Children and Adolescents Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in a crisis team, working with individuals and families dealing with young people who are suicidal, self-harming, experiencing Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), psychosis, learning difficulties etc.
I trained as a family and systemic practitioner, thus giving me the knowledge and experience of delivering therapy with couples and in groups.
I worked in the perinatal team as a family and systemic practitioner, in South London and Maudsley Hospital supporting couples dealing with the transition of having a newborn, relationship issues and delivering various therapeutic interventions to support them within this journey.
I was employed in another NHS establishment, working as a MacMillan Psychotherapist, where I delivered therapy to people who were suffering/experienced cancer, as well as their families, partners and carers.
I completed my degree in Radiotherapy and Oncology BSc (Hons), where I qualified as a specialist who delivers radiation treatment to cancer patients for curative and pain relief outcomes. I worked in NHS and Private hospitals over several years, including Royal Marsden Hospital, Cancer Centre (Guys and St Thomas'), Harley Street, GenesisCare etc, where I gained several accolades and achievements due to my care and attention to the service users I treated and supported on their cancer journey
I gained a coaching and mentoring qualification from Kings College Hospital, where I was able to implement coaching and mentoring when needed in my therapy sessions
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
