Tracy Reynolds (Currently Poviding an Online Service).
Welcome to my profile page, in view of the current government restrictions places on movement to reduce the risk of Coronavirus, I have paused all my face to face work in support of this. I am offering online and telephone services as a temporary measure and I will remove this notice when these restrictions are lifted.
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, with 18 years' experience. I work with an integrated approach incorporating the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Coach-Therapy. I have gained my experience while working within Mental Health Services, GPs Surgeries and with Local Authorities. I have covered many areas, these include working with feelings of anxiety, depression and low confidence. I have a vast amount of experience of working with children age 10 years up and young people in schools and youth centres and in private practice.
I provide a confidential service, in a comfortable environment. I will offer you the time to talk, at your own pace without judging you. We will work together with the aim of building a trusted working relationship. It is within this environment that you can feel free to work through the areas of your life that may feel unsettling or you want to change. Please feel free to contact me to book an appointment or if you require any further information.
Training, qualifications & experience
When you contact me regarding an appointment or with an enquiry, I will aim to respond to you within 24 hours of me receiving your message. Once you have decided that you would like to book an appointment with me, I will try to offer you flexibility, this includes offering evening and weekend appointments.
At your first appointment I will explain to you what my service can offer in terms of confidentiality. When you make an appointment with me, you are agreeing to the one session only, any further appointments will be agreed together. You will decide the frequency of the sessions; some clients like to have weekly appointments and others like to have them every two weeks. We will review our work together throughout the sessions and this will help you to determine your progress.
I qualified as a counsellor in 2002 with an advanced diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. Futher to this in 2011 I studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and qualified in 2013 with a BA (Hons).
As part of my professional development I went on to gain a foundation certificate in Coaching and I also qualified as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in 2015.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (RMBACP). I am fully insured, and my practice is monitored through regular and ongoing supervision. I offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
