Tracy Reynolds/TR Counselling Service/ MBACP
Welcome to my profile page. I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, with 17 years' experience. I work with an integrated approach incorporating the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Coach-Therapy. I have gained my experience while working within Mental Health Services, GPs Surgeries and with Local Authorities. I have covered many areas, these include working with feelings of anxiety, depression and low confidence. I am also experienced at working with children age 10 years up and young people in schools and youth centres.
When you contact me regarding an appointment or with an enquiry, I will aim to respond to you within 24 hours of me receiving your message. Once you have decided that you would like to book an appointment with me, I will try to offer you flexibility, this includes offering evening and weekend appointments.
At your first appointment I will explain to you what my service can offer in terms of confidentiality and experience. When you make an appointment with me, you are agreeing to the one session only, any further appointments will be agreed together. You will decide the frequency of the sessions; some clients like to have weekly appointments and others like to have them every two weeks. We will review our work together throughout the sessions and this will help you to determine your progress. You can end our work together at any point with no further commitment to continue, the service is client led.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified in 2002 with an advanced diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at degree level and qualified in 2013. As part of my professional development I went on to gain a foundation certificate in Coaching and I was certified as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in 2015.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am fully insured, and my practice is monitored through regular and ongoing supervision. I offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
I provide a confidential service, in a comfortable environment. I will offer you the time to talk, at your own pace without judging you. We will work together with the aim of building a trusted working relationship. It is within this environment that you can feel free to work through the areas of your life that may feel unsettling or you want to change. Please contact me to book an appointment or if you require any further information.
