About me
I believe that the path to change begins with a safe, welcoming space where you feel truly heard. As a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Supervisor, Europe Accredited EMDR Therapist, and EASE Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I work with you to bridge the gap between mind and body, acknowledging that your emotional and physical well-being are deeply intertwined. My approach is rooted in compassion and respect, enriched by years of experience supporting individuals from all walks of life, including neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities.
I offer Somatic Experiencing, CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Ego State Therapy, and EMDR. I work with PTSD and complex trauma, anxiety, OCD, phobias, depression, and chronic pain/health conditions. Sessions move at your pace. Sometimes that means going slowly and carefully; at other times it may feel right to work more actively with particular memories, patterns, or bodily sensations. You’re always in control of how far we go and what we focus on.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a psychotherapist and supervisor with a decade of expertise across the NHS and community care. I specialise in trauma-focused treatment, and I am able to treat a range of anxiety conditions, depression, and eating disorders. I work with adults and young people (12+). I currently work remotely, offering sessions via Microsoft Teams so you can access therapy from a space that feels comfortable and safe for you.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Payment for therapy or supervision is kindly requested via bank transfer. I am a registered provider with Aviva, Bupa, and AXA PPP. Depending on your specific policy, you can typically claim back these fees directly from your insurer, and I am happy to provide all necessary invoices or receipts to support your claim. Please note that any policy excess is your responsibility and is usually paid directly to me rather than the insurer.
