About me
Every journey starts with a single step. Are you ready to start the journey to a more fulfilled and peaceful life?. I offer individual and couples therapy within, a non-judgemental and confidential place to explore and resolve present and past traumas and challenges. Maybe you feel tired of reliving experiences or challenges from throughout your life? Maybe you would like to end the cycle of unhealthy behaviours and learn to understand there meanings? We all have life struggles at times and for many having somebody to hold a safe space and walk with them through that journey can be the key. Are you ready to take the first step on your journey?
I aim to always create a warm environment, working together and moving at your pace in which you can express yourself without fear of judgement. I have a gentle yet unique and sincere approach which has the ultimate aim of allowing you to unlock your own resources to help in achieving your potential and lead a more fulfilling, healthy, and satisfying life.
I believe passionately in the uniqueness and value of each individual as well as the importance of working together. Through my own life experiences and traumas I am able to provide empathy, connection and understanding towards clients living with the complexities of abuse, PTSD, CPTSD, grief, and mental health. I work with a trauma informed approach.

I have a Foundation Degree in Arts Counselling Skills with Liverpool John Moore University, I graduated with a distinction in July 2019. I have experience of working with groups, individuals and couples.
After qualifying I have continued to widen my knowledge through continued professional development training on a wide variety of topics from Trauma, Grief and Loss, self harm and suicide, CSE, CSA, domestic violence, shame, through to animal Assisted Therapy and Walk and Talk therapy. I have training in Existential, Pluralistic, Relational therapies and concepts and TA101 (Transactional Analysis).
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
