I offer an integrative form of counselling, meaning the type of counselling offered is dependent on each individual client and what they require to ensure their specific needs are met, combining different approaches that bring together different elements of specific therapies. This is a talking therapy, during which the client is provided with the opportunity to explore issues they have, developing an understanding of the goals they wish to achieve through therapy.

I work with a range of issues, from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, fears, phobias, and many others. Whether you are dealing with acute daily stress or an event which is making you reevaluate things, the therapy I offer may be of use in helping support you and help develop your understanding of how to move forward to where you would like to be. You may be unsure about why you feel you need or want to see a counsellor, sometimes feelings of sadness or restlessness may be the catalyst for looking for somebody to talk to and who will listen without judgement and support you in reflecting on what is happening presently.

I understand that the therapeutic relationship is vital for successful therapy to take place, so a consultation will take place initially to ensure we are both happy to be contracted as counsellor and client and understand all that entails.
